My favorite moments..

Some of my favorite moments this summer...

I had the honor of celebrating the life of such a special man with all these people! May Robert Dunigan rest in paradise!  I've know everyone on this picture my entire life and they all mean so much to me!

I love watching my sweet babes play in the water! Here we were at my mother in laws! We ate great authentic Mexican food and the kids did this all afternoon! A great day!

I treasure every moment with this beauty! My sister Danni is up from college in San Diego and has been working with me! I know my days are numbered with her coming home for the summer! Soon she will stay down in SD! Love her to pieces!

This is my clan to a T! Gavin is always all smiles and Olivia is always eating! Best picture! Here we spent the morning at the Circus and we had such a great time!

Here are a couple more pics of the Circus!

I love being married to this hunk! He makes everyday great! I feel like we are a great team and just truly really work well together! I picked a keeper! :)

And lastly, yesterday Olivia and I met a friend at our local nail salon and got our toes done for the first time together! I loved it! I'm looking forward to doing this with her as she grows up! Love mommy/daughter time!

Hope you all have a great Sunday! Sorry for the delay in my post! I have had some internet issues! Talk to you all soon!!

The last fling before the ring...

One of my best friends from 3rd grade is getting married this October! I had the pleasure of celebrating with her this weekend at her Bachelorette Party in San Francisco! We had so much fun!

The day started off with all of us meeting at Tiffany's house before we left for SF!

We went to the giants game, so of course we wore all our Giants gear plus some added touches from the bride to be!

Group shot! Weren't we cute?!

Then she pulled out the FIREBALL!!

Oh boy! First shot was at 7:45am! Yikes!

We then headed to Starbucks for some caffeine and we were on our way!! We got to the hotel and checked our bags and then went straight to the game!! But first let's stop for another shot! Oiy!

Biggest shot ever! And let's just say, Jack Daniels Honey, you are not my favorite! Ha!

Here is a better look at what we were wearing!! We got lots of stares, but people mostly thought we looked great!

Onto the game!

This was the first time I've ever been to a game! We had so much fun! Standing, cheering, singing along to the songs they played! Such a great day!

Roxy and I. She is one of my Besties from school! ( she was my MOH)

Sammie, Taylor, me, and Roxy.

The beautiful Bride to be!!

The whole group after the game!

We had a great time! The rest of the day we walked around , ate, drank, and ate some more! Everyone had such a great time we were all in bed early! Ha! That's what drinking at 7:45am will do to you!

I wish Tiffany a lifetime of happiness and cannot wait for the wedding!

I hope everyone is having a great Monday! Thanks for reading!

Wednesday I'll be posting about my favorite things! Stay tuned! :)

March 2014

March was a big month for my family. Not only did my Hunny turn 30!!! (oh my) But we also celebrated 5 years of marriage. Love my husband and I'm such a lucky lady to have married him.

A little collage of all our fun at his 30th surprise birthday party we had for him. Such fun!!

And the next day we set sail with some friends to celebrate him turning 30 and of course our 5 year anniversary since it was all in the same week.

So much fun! I love to cruise. Its one of our favorite ways to vacation. Everything is done for you. All you have to do is enjoy yourself. And its even better when you are with people you love.

April 2014

And one thing that my boy got to do this May was participate in PeeWee Showmanship at the Chowchilla Fair. So much fun. I loved getting to see him show a goat. I used to show pigs when I was little. About Me..

Hi there,

My name is Desirae Prado. I am very blessed in life. I have married a wonderful man named Steven. He is truly the best. He is a loving father and husband. He puts his family before anything else which is more special than I have words to say. We have two sweet kiddos. Gavin is three and Olivia is one. They are a crazy duo that keeps me on my toes at all times, but I wouldn't change that for the world.

Ill kinda start at the beginning so you get a sense of me.

I was born and raised in Madera, Ca. I was raised in a family of 7. My parents had 4 girls (poor them) before they had their one and only son. (King Dylan is the perfect name. He could get away with murder I'm sure) :) My parents are hard working, wonderful people who I aspire to be like everyday. We sometimes call ourselves the Country Kardashians of Central California because it seriously is never a dull moment in that house. Come on, can you imagine growing up with 4 girls. CRAZY!!! (and that is being nice) :) Love my dysfunctional family! I truly wouldn't be who I am today without every single one of them.

I met Steven in High School. He was a Senior, I was a Freshman. (we didn't start dating until I was a Senior in High School). We dated for almost 3 years before we got engaged. We were engaged May 2008 and we married on March 21, 2009.  Seriously the best day of my life.

Soon after our wedding we found out we were pregnant with our first child. Excited, nervous, and scared were my feelings in the beginning. I had a pretty decent pregnancy. Fairly easy too. Just morning sickness the first trimester. Then the day came.

May 3, 2010. I went to work that morning feeling huge and ready. Got to my desk to start my morning ritual and as soon as I sat down my water broke. Woohoo he is coming.

On May 4, 2010 after 14 hours of labor Gavin Paul Prado was here. He weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz. 21 1/2 inches. He was perfect. Then the bad new came. We were told to go straight to Valley Children's Hospital because he had a slight Murmur. Lets just say SLIGHT was a nice way to put it. After getting there and having all the tests done we found out his SLIGHT Murmur was actually a Heart Disease called Aortic Stenosis. In other words he has a bad Aortic Valve. SCARY is an understatement. At that point they did a procedure called a Balloon Dilation. (They ballooned thru his Aortic Valve to widen it). Horrible experience to go thru as a first time parent. He is now almost 4 and doing so good. We check on his heart at Children's every 6 months. Eventually we will have to replace his Aortic Valve. So for now we just wait.

After that whole experience Steven had said he no longer wanted more kids. Who would? We were terrified our whole first year with Gav. I was never sure what to look for! We were told when the balloon dilation didn't work anymore he could pass out and turn blue. Like I said before SCARY!!! But as time passed so did our worries. I mean I still worry 24/7 but it has gotten easier. We are more educated about the disease and knowing that it is coming whether we want it to or not. So time has made is simpler to deal with.

After 2 years we had decided that maybe trying for one more would be ok. That conversation occurred in January 2012. We weren't sure when we would try but at least it was back on the table. Well god had other plans for us. :) We were pregnant by the end of the month and NO we were not trying. It just happened. I then had every test done in the book to make sure I wasn't surprised with some kind of illness. And she was fine. No problems. Thank the good lord.

We welcomed Olivia Mykael (pronounced Michael) Prado on October 11, 2012 (10-11-12 love love the date :))  She was 7 lbs. 10 oz. 21 1/2 inches. She was perfect.

We now have our perfect little family growing and amazing us everyday. Our children are our everything and we are truly blessed to have the life we have.

I have now decided to blog, not for any other reason but to document our lives so eventually I can look back over everything. I used to scrapbook (ALOT) :) before I had kids but lets be honest I can't with my rug rats running around everyday. Plus why make a mess. Haha. So Blogging I will try. I hope anyone that reads our craziness enjoys every minute. Im sure we will be bringing you lots of belly laughs!

Until then…
